Susan Hansen

Susan Hansen moved from California to the beautiful Hudson River Valley in 2022. A retired Arts Integration Specialist from a large school district in California, she conceived, wrote, and taught arts integration lessons for K-6 classrooms which included dance, theatre, visual arts, and music into language arts instruction.  Upon retirement she devoted herself to creating her own art after 28 years of concentrating on elementary school arts instruction. 

After creating California Landscape paintings, it is wonderful for her to discover and paint totally new and different landscapes of the Hudson River Valley, In addition to landscapes she enjoys still life painting.

When she is not painting, she enjoys spending time with her East Coast family and playing with her two young granddaughters.
